History

The history of Stadco at its Shrewsbury headquarters can be traced back to 1925 and the company history further back to 1812.

Through the 1960s and 70s the automotive sector increasingly became the focus of the company, initially through toolmaking activities, but since the early 80s through the supply of Body-in-White stampings and assemblies.

Today, Stadco supplies over 150 million such parts annually to the world's leading automotive manufacturers from 6 plants in the UK and 1 in Germany.
