Stampings

Large aluminium panels

Stadco has the capability to stamp large aluminium inner and skin panels, e.g., a Centre Floor Tunnel.

It is processed in a semi-automated tandem line utilising 5 operations at a typical blow rate of 200 parts per hour.

Large steel panels

Stadco has the capability to manufacture a wide range of large steel stampings.

A typical example is a Crossmember rear floor lower panel.

Utilising the auto tandem process, this part is manufactured in a series of 5 operations at a typical blow rate of 400 parts per hour

Progression

Where feasible, Stadco considers the progression process, to offer the most competitive piece cost available.

A typical progression strip layout is detailed here for a Diversity Bracket.

This particular tool consists of 12 stages in total, typically running at a blow rate of 2,700 parts per hour.

In-Press Nutting

Working in partnership with Profil, Stadco has the capability to insert in-press fixings directly into the stamping process.

For example, this Fuel Ring, which has 5 M6×12mm studs inserted within the progression process.

This tool runs at a blow rate of over 1,300 parts per hour.
